Abia Warriors FC has acquired Uzorji Christian Uzochukwu, 18, from Like-Minds FC of Gwagwalada, Abuja, a club in NLO Division 1.

On September 28, in Umuahia, the utility player who excels in both defensive and attacking midfield positions as well as wing backs was formally signed.

Uzorji Christian was a member of the Like-Minds FC team that competed and was promoted from Division 2 to the NLO Division 1 League.

The chairman of Like-Minds FC, Babatunde Bocknor, confirmed this in Abuja and expressed his gratitude to the Abia Warriors FC management, particularly the chairman Pastor Emeka Inyama, for wanting to make sure that young players with natural talent had the chance to showcase their abilities.

Barrister Bocknor continued to believe that in the near future, the team’s potential would be fully utilized for the benefit of the nation. Finally, he expressed gratitude to their technical partners ECN Global for helping with the transfer.

The primary goal of Like-Minds FC of Gwagwalada Abuja, an NLO 1, was to provide grassroots players with the chance to showcase their talents to a greater extent. After spending a season in NLO Division 2, the team was promoted to the Nationwide League’s top division.
