Doubts about the health of the Peoples Democratic Party’s (PDP) Presidential Candidate, Atiku Abubakar, have risen in the aftermath of video footage showing the former vice president ‘limping’ after recently returning to the country.

Atiku, who is running for President of Nigeria in 2023, is said to be suffering from an undisclosed illness, which is the reason for his recent trip abroad.

In the video, seen by POLITICS NIGERIA, Atiku is seen ‘limping’ gently through a crowd of supporters before being led to a waiting SUV and assisted in fastening his seatbelt.

He was filmed shortly after arriving in Nigeria from Morocco last week. He had been in Spain for several weeks before that.
