Early on Thursday, passengers on Dana Air engaged in willful destruction of facilities at the new domestic terminal of the Lagos Airport, also known as MMA2.
The passengers were displeased with Dana Air’s inadequate communication regarding the Nigerian Civil Aviation Authority’s decision to permanently suspend the airline’s operations (NCAA).

The 100 passengers voiced concerns about the suspended carrier’s staff not being present in the departure hall to inform them of their options, including possible transfers to other partner airlines or refunds of their ticket prices.

Others snatched the glass windows from the airline counters while security staff from the terminal manager, Bi- Courtney Aviation Services Limited, frantically tried to calm some of the passengers.

Some of the passengers lost it when there seemed to be no end in sight, causing chaos in the terminal’s departure hall.
