The star of Barcelona Femeni and the Super Falcons is the only African player on the 2022 Ballon D’Or list.

When she was named as one of the candidates for the 2022 Ballon D’Or, Assist Oshoala’s year reached a new high.

Oshoala had recently surpassed her own record when she was named the fifth African Women’s Player of the Year.
