“Operation Hadin Kai” Theatre Commander for the North East, Maj.-Gen. According to Christopher Musa, over 79,000 insurgents have already given themselves up, both combatants and non-combatants.

While briefing reporters in Maiduguri on the command’s most recent successes, Musa made this known.

The commander claimed that the insurgents’ mass surrender was the result of an ongoing kinetic and non-kinetic assault on them.

He claimed that as a result, Maiduguri needed to build more camps to house the repentants who were being separated to determine who was a combatant and who wasn’t.

He praised the public’s support, calling them “unsung heroes,” and urged them to keep up the momentum for a swift resolution of the conflict.

“We are extremely pleased with the way the general public has been working with us; they can tell we are sincere in what we are doing.

Musa declared, “We are dedicated to upholding the human rights charter and the rules of engagement in our business practices.

Speaking about recent successes, Maj.-Gen. Waidi Shuaibu, General Officer Commanding (GOC), 7 Division, Maiduguri, mentioned that three more Chibok girls were also rescued during the time period under consideration.

Falmata Lawan, Asabe Ali, and Jinkal Yama, who are serial numbers three, twelve, and twenty on the list of kidnapped Chibok girls, respectively, were among the girls, according to Shuaibu.

Separately, on August 30, September 1, and September 2, the girls were rescued in the Bama axis.
