‘The Book of Clarence’ chronicles the life of a character who does not believe anything that is not tangible to him.
The character, however, has a lot of confidence in himself.
The movie references biblical characters and storylines that Christians may need help understanding.
Speaking on the inspiration behind the story, Samuel said he did not do much from the actual Bible stories.
He said as a black man, he grew up in an area where people attended church every Sunday.
He, however, said he did research on more aspects of everyday life during that time.
‘The Book of Clarence’ is set for release exclusively in cinemas on January 12, 2024.
