To commemorate the 35th anniversary of the state’s founding, Akwa Ibom State Governor Udom Emmanuel has declared Friday, September 23, 2022, a Work Free Day.

As a result, the holiday will be observed in all state offices and public spaces.

The state’s commissioner for information and strategy, Comrade Ini Ememobong, announced the holiday in a press release that was made available to our correspondent in Uyo on Thursday.

The spirit of the 35th anniversary of the founding of our state is reflected in this proclamation.
