Wilfred Ndidi has admitted that Leicester City will face a difficult test when they face Arsenal at the Emirates Stadium on Saturday, August 13.

Ndidi has revealed that if the Foxes stick to their game plan, they have a good chance of picking up at least one point against the Gunners.

In an interview with LCFC TV, Ndidi stated: “Every game, whether at home or away, is difficult when you play any team in the Premier League.

“It all depends on your tactics and what you plan to present in the game, as well as how you go about it.

“I believe it is one of those games where anything can happen. I believe we can win the game if we stick to our strategy and do everything correctly.”

Brendan Rodgers’ side were held to a 2-2 draw by Brentford at the King Power Stadium in their first match of the new season, while Arsenal began their campaign with an impressive 2-0 win over Crystal Palace at Selhurst Park.

Ndidi continued: “It was a good win for them (against Palace), and I think they’ll be more confident now.

“So it’s up to us now to find our confidence. If we can get something out of this, it will be very beneficial to our confidence going forward.

“Of course, Arsenal is a massive club. We know as players that we want to achieve a specific goal in every game.

“We have goals for this season as well, and we know we have to give it our all in every game.

“So, I think it’s another game that we’re looking forward to seeing what comes of it.”

Ndidi has faced Arsenal eight times since joining Leicester City in January 2017, with only two victories, five losses, and one draw.
