The Lord’s Achievers Award, a renowned honor, is organized by Lord’s London Dry Gin. As it opened the eagerly anticipated ceremony at its pre-award “Mix and Mingle” event held in Lagos, it announced the award ceremony’s return for a fifth time.

The LAA 2023 nominees, Lord’s Dry Gin management, influencers, and brand friends were all present at the pre-award ceremony.

Stanley Obi, Director of Grand Oak Limited’s PRIME Business Unit, commented on the importance of this year’s edition, saying, “For this year’s theme – Celebrating Innovative Excellence – we chose to take an in-depth look at the issues in society and identify people who, through their imagination and problem-solving abilities, have developed initiatives that benefit their communities. The reason for this year’s theme is that the world needs innovation and excellence more than ever.

Speaking about the Lord’s Achievers Award and the motivation behind the award recognition, Lord’s London Dry Gin Brand Manager Amar Agada said, “We feel that recognition is a strong tool for rewarding great behavior – it sets off a ripple effect that may impact a whole value chain.

Ranti Olaniyan, who is in charge of selecting and engaging with award nominees, said: “Every year, we nominate young Nigerians, between the ages of 25 and 40, who meet specific selection criteria along the reach and scope of their work, duration since the commencement of their work or initiative, and the potential for scale and impact on wider socio-economic outcomes.”
