In Mararaba, a man named Kingsley murdered his girlfriend, Anyawu Grace, for allegedly sleeping with another man in Nasarawa State’s Karu LGA.

The incident occurred on Sunday morning, according to City & Crime.

After peering through the window, Kingsley was said to have returned from a night journey and discovered his girlfriend with another man.

“As soon as he discovered this, he forcefully opened the door, went to the kitchen and took a knife, killed his girlfriend, and also attempted to stab the man, who fought back to save his life,” a neighbor, Ogunleye Tunde, told our reporter.

“The man was able to flee, and he raised the alarm, drawing the attention of nearby residents to the incident.” Following that, Kingsley fled.”

Madam Anyawu Joyce, the deceased’s mother, said the matter had been reported to the police, and her daughter’s remains had been deposited in a mortuary.

As of the time of filing this report, the Nasarawa State Police Command had not responded to the incident.
