The highly anticipated seventh season of Big Brother Naija, dubbed “Level Up,” has begun airing.

The first group of housemates were introduced to the audience on Saturday during the live launch show.

Six male contestants and six female contestants arrived at the house, beginning their new path to fame.


Groovy, also known as Henry Olisa, is from the state of Anambra.


Taraba State-born Beauty Tukura is the 2021 Miss Nigeria.


Khalid Ismail is 22 years old. He claims to be single and not looking for love.


Ilebaye is from Kogi State and has stated that fans should not expect her to be in any relationships on the show.


Cyph, or Bright Erekete, is a tech bro who doesn’t believe in love at first sight.


She refers to herself as Nicki Minaj from Nigeria. Amaka goes on to say that she is “single to the last letter of the word.”


He’s a married 28-year-old man who claims his wife approves of his having fun.


Daniella Peters, a poet from Cross River State, is 22 years old.


Saviour Akpan is a native of Akwa Ibom State. PharmSavi described himself as a confident gentleman with a great sense of humour. At first, he does not believe in love. He identifies as a pharmacist and a low-key entertainer.


Phyna is short for Josephina. She’s from Edo State.


Brian, a budding music producer, is from Imo State.

Christy O

Christy is from Ondo State.

Asake and Victony also gave electrifying performances for the live audience and fans on the premiere night.

This year’s winner will walk away with a N100m grand prize, which includes a N50m cash prize and N50m in sponsor prizes. In addition, 30 show fans will win N1m each in the ‘Favorite Lock-In’ promotion, which is only available to DStv and GOtv customers.

The show will keep its voting style from last year, with voting available only to active customers on the Big Brother Naija website, mobile site, and the MyDStv and MyGOtv apps.
