The recently released list of the Presidential Campaign Council notably omitted a few prominent All Progressives Congress (APC) members.
Vice President Yemi Osinbajo, Secretary to the Government of the Federation Boss Mustapha, former Secretary to the Government of the Federation Babachir Lawal, and former Speaker of the House of Representatives Yakubu Dogara are just a few of the individuals who were absent from the previous list.

According to Naija News, the ruling party released a new list of its Presidential Campaign Council (PCC) on Wednesday night in preparation for the general elections of 2023.

President Muhammadu Buhari is still the chairman of the council, and the new list includes APC governors, ministers, lawmakers, ambassadors, and actors in addition to those who currently hold or have held public office.

Bola Tinubu, the party’s presidential candidate, serves as the second Deputy Chairman, while Abdullahi Adamu, the national chairman of the party, serves as the first.

Osinbajo, Lawal, Mustapha, and Dogara were once more left off the new list of council members that the APC National Secretary, Senator Iyiola Omisore, signed.

Chukwuemeka Nwajiuba, a former minister of state for education, Adebayo Shittu, a former minister of communications, and Osita Okechukwu, the director general of the Voice of Nigeria, were also left off the list.

Also, other APC members missing from the fresh list included are former Rivers State Governor, Rotimi Amaechi, and Minister of Interior, Ogbeni Rauf Aregbesola.
