According to Peterside Idah, he spent between 15 and 20 million Naira on the NFF election that took place on Friday in Benin City, Edo State, according to BSNSports.com.ng.

Ibrahim Gusau, a former chairman of the Nigeria Football Federation (NFF) and the chairman of the Zamfara State Football Association, defeated Idah in the race to lead Nigeria’s top football organization.

In the replay of the election, Gusau received 39 votes, defeating the Super Eagles by one vote.

“I arrived from outside to make a statement. I’ll return in four years.

“I spent 15 to 20 million Naira on the election. Until Congress, we will not give up. There will be parity in the Congress once it is expanded.

“Today’s (Friday) procedure wasn’t too awful. My life continues. At SuperSport, I have job to do. I am a pastor as well. I’ll preside over the NFF. If Gusau decides that I merit his support, I will likewise be prepared to give it.”
