The updated Lagos State Resident Identity Card is set to officially launch, according to the Lagos State Residents Registration Agency (LASRRA) (LAG ID Card).

The new LAG ID Card will be unveiled by Lagos State Governor Mr. Babajide Sanwo-Olu on Wednesday, July 20, at Police College, Ikeja GRA, according to LASRRA General Manager Engr. (Mrs.) Ibilola Kasunmu, who also announced the launch date.

All five divisions of the State—Ikeja, Badagry, Ikorodu, Lagos Island, and Epe—will experience the launch at the same time.

Kasunmu added that the live demonstration of the smart card, its features, and Mr. Governor’s unveiling would be among the day’s major highlights.

Speaking about the new LAG ID Card, Engr. Kasunmu revealed that the new card has more features and functionalities built into it to give cardholders faster and wider access to services offered by the Lagos State Government.
