Bola Ahmed Tinubu, the All Progressives Congress (APC) presidential candidate, and his running mate, Senator Kashim Shettima, have arrived in London, United Kingdom.
Tinubu and Shettima, according to Naija News, left the country on Saturday, ahead of the start of electioneering campaigns on Wednesday, September 28.

Bayo Onanuga, the spokesperson for Tinubu-Shettima Presidential Campaign Council, confirmed to The Punch that the duo went to London for vacation.

According to Onanuga, Tinubu and his running mate will leave the country for a week to prepare for campaigns, returning in the first week of October.

He said: “He only took a week break for vacation.”

Tinubu’s campaign will begin on October 8, according to Onanuga, and his policy document will be ready and unveiled by October 2.

He did, however, reveal that the council will begin the campaigns with a special prayer in all APC branches across the country.

“Although the campaign will begin on October 8, we will begin on September 28 with a prayer in all APC branches nationwide,” he added.

“After dedicating the day to God, we will begin road construction in Abuja.” However, I am confident that the policy document will be ready by October 2.”
